'Keep Sane' Update

Hey everyone,

I am fully aware that this is not a post about RE: P, and it will be the last post I make about 'Keep Sane' here. I've started up a separate blog for that project, which you can see here: http://keepsanegame.blogspot.co.uk/

I've updated the game with dynamic 'Tainted Ground' and randomised enemy/item spawns. If you're interested, go check it out.

    Hia. I like doing two things myself to get back focus. Putting tonz of attention to one thing at a time can be exhausting. I liked your side project, i hope you are getting some nice ideas with it. Seems we will be having more than two games (so far). All the best.

      Dog animations have been done for about a month now. I haven't received any interior sprites for the new stage.

      Yeah, it's been a while. Didn't help losing a lot of sprites, but still, too long.

      I planned to release the big area update on New Years. At least now I can focus on that instead of worrying about when to release the animations.

      Specially since he got all he need for dog animations but he wont do the little job and update it... its kinda like he lost his interest for the game! which make fans sad and ppl who donated mad!!

      Aye but if everyone keeps pissing on him he will lose faith in his fans.
      I know there are a lot of fans out there wich all are waiting for an update.
      And I think most of them are calm and just say nothing and they are still hoping for this update every day.
      So if only the creepy childs talking shit to him... It wouldn't make him faster :P
      It's enough to say "Hey we are still here waiting good guy"
      "We haven't lost faith in you yet! But we are all ready for an update^^"

      Don't forget he was up to upload the update but Fapcom has been hacked.
      Shit happens.
      And I tought I will donate 50 bugs after the next update two months ago. And I still think so^^
      But what ever. Post some productive critism or something positive or get the hell out of here... thats all i want to say :P

      It hasn't helped to see some comments, and I have felt a bit put off with the update. As I put in another comment, I wanted to release a big area update on New Years, but taking that holiday meant I missed out on the opportunity to.

      I have not (and will not) lose interest in the game, but I have to keep my grades up, as well as my other life commitments (which take up more time than one would believe)

    the more you (by "you" i mean the ones pushing and nagging for a update lol) try to rush everyone to get it done the more they don't want to work on it

    its not nagging when i am trying to warn that he is probobly losing fans becuse of this , and i think if he had too few fans THEN he wouldnt want to work on this anymore >.>

      i wasn't referring to you in particular (i really did mean the ones bitching) but the true fans are the ones that can wait however long needed for the game

      the rest are just assholes that are waiting for a zombie dog to come and get them XD (like the guy just screaming "fucker" and "dumbass" for example lol)

      but i will say tho that z-fied (this is just me guessing mind you since he hasn't sent me a message or anything) and FAP are probability just dealing with RL stuff so i'm just playing the messenger for now

      but if i hear anything tho (as long as Z says i can post it) i will post any new info about the game i hear^^

      well there are also true fans that worry about the maker personally , i mean i want him to have fun and succeed at making this game even better then it is.

      im not trying to say he is doing something wrong, im just trying to be helpfull

      Thank you guys for showing a different perspective than what I thought you were after. Personally, I find it a bit weird for people to be concerned with my real life, but I realise it can't be avoided if it's an excuse for missing updates.

      I am still very much up for making the second city, there are 3 more areas to do for Montbury (Casino, Abandoned Lab, Warehouse) then it's onto there.

    this mod started with so much love in it! from atmosphere to sex parts! what happened to it suddenly? :(

      Honestly, I'm still in a transitionary state. I'm studying hard for something that I really want to have a career in (which is all fine), but there's all the work that comes around just the studying (which easily takes up 4 days), and the overall assignments for the terms.

      I still really want to work on this, but some days I feel like it's a choice between the two, and I worry for my career prospects if I spend too much time making this game.
