A disappointing status update

Ok, so before some of you start worrying, I'll let you know that we have got the basic second dog animation down, it's included in the game/Laboratory. I'm also going to change the scripts for climaxing. We were working on the 'knotted' extra scenes of this animation, and I did want to start on the new area by now, however there's been this problem:

FAPCOM hard-drive and backup hard drive were corrupted due to a power surge, which means we lost all the knotted animation, as well as new area tiles and a background for the new skill tree layout. This has obviously set us back by a considerable amount.

However, I plan to create the second area without the tilesets, and then add them in after. (as in just use placeholder tiles)

Unfortunately, I can't pin when the next update will be.

    Yeah, I think it would be a good idea for you and Fapcom to share an online backup source. Like Art said, dropbox is good. You can create shared folders and Fapcom can just drop stuff in there. Also, perhaps you both can get a MEGA account. Everything is encrypted and you can also link your accounts. That way you'll always have a backup and a quick way to send files back and forth.
    A power surge sucks though. I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully Fap didn't loose any personal stuff.

    Jking. But seriously, these days, the only ways your hard-drive can get corrupt is if you get REALLY unlikely with a power surge (and I mean really) or you got viruses.

      do you have RPG maker VX or 2000 RTP on computer because the game will not work and the location to system locale to Japanese as will.

    If the drive spins try Recuva to get your files off, if that doesn't work Spinrite can work miracles. If the drive does not spin you are pretty much hosed.
