As you can probably guess by the title, the update that was meant to be finished by Saturday (that was my goal) isn't ready yet. As usual, I've been busy with real life. However, I do have something to show. This is my (with the help of a 3d modeler) current test for a game over screen I still need to complete the shading (for the legs) but opinions?
Hmm, looks pretty good but here are a couple of options: 1. Don't make her eyes glazed over dead like, its just a turn off for me. I would prefer a "broken" kind of expression like in some of the Viper games with eyes still open but just staring into the middle distance. (like http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=1317258) 2. Are you going to make it animated, iris action style and relevant to what killed/raped you? 3. You could add torn clothes, semen or sweat all over her, but I guess that is a personal thing. 4. Can pregnancy/oviposition be added? (http://rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=95371) 5. Game over rape slave? (http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=1472019)
Other than these suggestions, keep up the great work!

1) This is the generic zombie biting death and such, where Rebecca IS DEAD. I'll put up a poll, but I think it's best she looks dead in the one where she is. 2) Maybe, if I can get someone who understands animating in such large scale. I noticed that was Iris Actions main USP. There will be different images depending on how you died though. (obviously there'll be more for sex deaths) 3) Clothes I will be doing (depending on how much clothing damage you took.) I will also be adding some blood (since people voted that option over any other) 4) For the sex ones, there will be a couple where this happens. 5) Again, there will be one or two.

Yeah for the inventory, since you seem to have made your own for the pistol. If you are just going to use ones from the game then fine, I just wanted to know if I could contribute, since I sure as hell can't draw body parts or anything.

As for as the suggestions go, I like the idea of game over rape slave thing, though I don't agree with the idea of a different one for each type of death. Not yet anyways, as I presume doing this sort of thing is tough.

The only problem with this though is the time it takes to make the images for each type of death/gameover, and [i]and then[/i] coding them into the game. While I approve of the idea of having different gameover screens for different gameovers, for the moment at least we should stick with one (maybe change the dialogue depending like the old 2d version did)
I did have plans to make virus succumbed Rebecca a zombie girl, I also wanted her to turn into a zombie girl in-game. But yeah, zombie Rebecca will be included as a CG.
Why not to use Daz3d? They give-away some models (Aiko), rendering engine, community stuff and licence to use for free in non-commercial game production. No need to model anything.
Dude hows the progress on the update? I'm happy I found this game, theres a tonne of potential and I love what you have done so far, also, by any chance could you implement a gang rape scene with the zombies?
highly unlikely for it to be finished this year. Latest I would expect it to be done is...within 2-3 years. And that's a semi optimistic forecast. When your making a game on your free time (this is not a game that, to my knowledge, will end up being sold anywhere) it takes a while to finish it.
Heck, they're currently only on the prologue, and I don't know how long of a game Z-Fied was planning, so I wouldn't expect it to be finished this year unless Fapcom and Z-Fied gain lots of free time (and that might not necessarily be a good thing if they do)
So, any word on progress Z or Fap? I'm just curious, it'd be neat if either of you were able to post progress reports at least once a week so we can keep up and not be left in the dark. *the dark is not nice, I think I hear groans and moans coming my way. Aha, good to see this game is still actually up and running; unlike a bunch of other games I've tracked from the Legend of Krystal Forums. Found out about this game from a reference in another h-game, Dusty's Castle (good game, good game) and I was like "Woo, Resident Evil game! Must find!" And that's how I'm here. XD I've enjoyed what you've had so far and can't wait for the update. Opinions on the game over screen pic: I think it looks pretty good. Keep up the good work but take your time; we all get busy with real life but I'm sure this game will be worth the wait. :p And also, are you gonna include Rebecca's alternate nurse outfit from Mercs 3D in the future? :O
I sent ZFied a small bunch of sprites before I left for my work trip. He hasn't replied to them yet, and I think it's because every month in RL, he gets what everybody gets, bills (Sorry for me stupidly stating the obvious). I'm not entirely clear on his situation, but if he hasn't been posting any status updates, then I'm pretty sure it's getting worse. I hope he copes well because he's been hit pretty hard.
On my end, it's to my great shame to say that since I sent him those sprites, I haven't had much time to work on the new sprites I promised him for the Cerberus. I was hoping to add in some extra sex by now too (damn!).
I guess what I'm trying to point out is that every month or so when the bills come in, there might be some inactivity. I hope this gets better so he doesn't have to worry about it every month, but I think there's some of you who can sympathize with his situation.
I understand. I suppose there are benefits when living with family and everyone's working (namely that bills are easy to take care of...most of the time)
Next paycheck I'll send him another dontation to see if that helps any. Wish I could do more then send him only 21 pounds or so, but the dollar aint worth what it used to be.

to the anonymous above me i don't see the game that you made and are trying to improve little by little as time goes on they don't have a team of 200 people working around the clock to finish it by this year i would love for that to happen just give it time make the time between the updates like an adventure dlc take skyrim and put it in real life you want to get from the bottom left corner of the map to the top right corner on foot it would take around 5 months maybe more depending on food/water,your equipment/armour/weapons and enemies & allies along the way all i am trying to say is wait and do something else and come back just don't jump to there lazy someone could have passed away god i hope i am wrong also i am not trying to make enemies on here i love this place just take the time to read what i have written

For all we know, some of us are just replying to themselves in a different attitude. Ah well, anywayz, I agree. Give the poor guy some time. It's not like we're all gonna die if he doesn't finish making this H-game in set amount of time.
I honestly disagree with you. I believe that you should finish what you start, without month breaks inbetween. As an example, if you want to work out, doing 10 curls every month won't do anything for you, you need to keep at it every few days. If it's too much work for him to make this on his own, there are plenty of people willing to step up to help, there should be no excuse for making everyone else wait due to personal issues.
yea....but if you cannot pay your bills and the internet gets cut off how will u make it and upload it? plus you need a job so you work it takes away time from game making dont be so selfish!! programming is hard i did a little bit of C when i was in high school, half my class failed - masiliima
Alright, lets add in work days then. 24 hour day - 10 hours sleep - 8 hours work = 6 hours free time each day to work on the game, not to mention weekends. Not working on the game is being selfish, not vice versa.
PSSSST dont forget the mornings. get up at 7 am, get ready for work, go to work at 9 ends at 5 or maybe later or earlier, get home around 5:30 6, take a shower eat dinner have SOME FREE TIME for an hour or 2, by then its 9, then work on game for an hour if not tired then go to bed at 10, wake up and do it all over again -masiliima

Stop thinking of this as a professionally made game, its not. The only timetable Z-fied has to work on is his own. If anyone's being selfish here, its you for thinking like that.

Hello everyone nice too see new people chatting it up here iv been checking back here all the time for 2 years now And i speak for everyone here hoping that Zfied is alright and is doing fine... hopefully he will return eventually but until then i will wait like the patient man that i am after all patience is a virtue plus lately it just feels like time is flying by for me weeks would go by then months... then before we know it the great Zfied will have returned and then we can all have happy fappy times :D

I realise he's a busy guy but it'd be nice to know how things are coming along every couple of weeks, even if he just drops in to say hes been too busy to work on it. Oh, and the fingers on the right hand look a little off, but not exactly sure how.

DeleteIf these are gonna be gameover scene they look good, just prefer they are similar to your situation of death/knock/rape.

If you died from the virus while being raped by a cerbuss, maybe naked with scratch marks all over her legs?

DeleteI already planned for there to be different GO images depending on how you died.
Par examplé: Rebecca dies to single zombie. Rebecca dies to 2 zombies. Rebecca dies to a whole load of zombies. These all give different GO images as appropriate.
The dialogue will still be there, but the idea was the dialogue complemented an image. We just never got an artist, so I decided to just do it myself.
Also, there will be some bite marks, a couple of scratch marks, blood, etc. (Not too extreme though)
