UPDATE: 17 - 09 - 2011

Finally, the next update is here!

This update fixes a few of the bugs that you've been complaining about in the previous version (the ammo one, teleporting one, etc.) however, I have not been able to get rid of the mercenaries bug, so you will still experience that when playing in the Mercs. You may also get the loading bug still, I am constantly trying to fix this.

There are also lots of additions, from the end of Chapter 1 (still have some extra bits to put in...) to a new HUD style!

NOTE: To use the new HUD, you have to change the style in the Graphic Options, and remember to SAVE YOUR CHANGES, OTHERWISE IT WILL REVERT!

Classic = No HUD, original REs
Modern = Circle Bar HUD, modern REs
Progeny = same as previous versions

Enjoy this update!

  1. Hey Z, just giving my opinion on the latest update. First of all... is that thing the taser? It looked like a effin' rail gun to me... I assume it will be similar to the anti-grapple weapons from RE Remake. Other thing, what is that big block with "car" written on it doing there?
    And finally, wanted to let you know Cat's voice acting is great. Didn't expect much of it, but now it sounds great. Keep up the good work.

    Yeah, I borrowed them sprites from the RE games, but ANoob's working on the inventory sprites to replace those. Yeah, it'll be the same as in RE Remake, you'll be able to use it 1) when a zombie is biting you 2) before a zombie penetrates you in a rape grapple.

    The big block with car on it is where you're meant to go once you get that key (we need a new sprite for the car key >.>)

    Cat's voice acting hasn't changed since last update... I guess you must have got used to it then! ^^

    @Anon 2

    Yep, that's what I've been getting too, thought I fixed it, turns out I haven't yet. I'll keep at it.

  4. When is the new demo with the updates going to be available for download?

  5. Um, it's been out for 2 days now... did you look at the top of this blog? It's right there... like, right above the post that says "UPDATE"

  6. I tried both links, and they both gave me the 25th August update.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Exactly, so try not to sound too condescending without checking your own links first.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Alright, that's weird. I did paste the new links there, just it was redirecting to a different one for some reason. Anyway, fixed, and apologies.

  9. Tried to get it working, 98/xp1/xp2/xp3 compatibility modes, as admin, all virus and firewalls disabled.. No dice.

    It seems my computer doesn't like the game. :(

  10. Found the problem, evidently game maker does NOT like ATI's Catalyst software overruling its internals, if you get invalid floating point operations or fail to load at all...set all gaming settings to application.

  11. I noticed you on another forum saying you're interested in suggestions?

    I'd request hunter gamma vore, as can be seen here. http://www.youtube.com/user/TheHunterGamma

    There's no blood. It's an enemy and animation from the actual game, so even if someone isn't into it it doesn't break the immersion. And of course, it would add another potential fetish/forum following to the development.

    Just a suggestion, if you guys have the time.

  12. You'll have to forgive me as I'm terrible when it comes to computers, but I have no idea how to play this game. I download the file but I can't figure out how to run it on my mac. Would somebody please help with instructions or maybe post a playable version online somewhere.

  13. @Israfil

    Glad you sorted the problem ^^

    @Anon (1)

    Hmm, well we don't have any plans to include Hunter Gammas at the moment, we've already done an idle Hunter Alpha sprite.

    @Anon (2)

    Hate to tell you, but the game is unplayable on Macs. When (and if) we finish the game, we'll work on converting it to Mac, however, it needs to be designed in Mac to play on Mac, due to the fact Macs don't run EXEs.

  14. because macs are GHEY get a pc! D:<

    ReplyDelete
  15. Cat, macs aren't gay, they're better than PCs for movie, music, and general media production, however, for office use and gaming, I agree that PCs are far better, which is why PCs can be specifically designed for gaming.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Which again, why makes are ghey!

    ReplyDelete
  17. i agree with Z-Fied. Macs have beautiful designs and cool new features u could use for apple's related products like iPhone, iPad, etc. i saw on youtube that Macs does have an accelerometer so u could use it for racing games ;-)....i just had a thought if u could use VMware Fusion on Mac to run Windows so u could play PC games

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nope, Pcs are much better then mac's always have, always will be!

  19. Cat, stop spamming the comments section, I will just delete your comments from now on if they're pointless.

  20. Question: What is the 'Submit' button? I've tried Z, X and C all of them and.... it just doesn't work in the latest version.

    Am I doing something wrong? Or does it not work until a certain point in the game?

    ReplyDelete
  21. It says it in the player controls at the start of the game, but you use C when in a sex grapple to submit, which means you take less damage, but you can't escape anymore, meaning the zombie will cum inside of you, raising your infection.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @Anon:

    Are you using the submit button on regular zombies or the Cerberus? The Cerberus hasn't got the Submit option coded for it just yet.

    I've tried to replicate your bug with the zombies to no effect in the latest release.

  23. Would I be able to play the game through virtual PC on my Mac. I don't want to download an unnecessary app.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I already mentioned that in the early post bout VMware Fusion for Mac. Since I don't own a Mac, you'll have to give it a try. The game size is only 68.6 MB so there shouldn't be any worries downloading it unless you're going for a 200 MB to 1 GB game :-P. If you're that repulsive then go to http://kyrieru.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html and download his game which is 28.2 MB size & test it on your virtual PC. He used the same engine as this resident evil game.

  25. Would it be possible to add a "Sandbox" mode which allows you to play around with all the monsters, but at the cost of no story or game? I imagine some people would thank you for it if you did.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Anon

    Try agentmaxs solution, you may be able to play it through a virtual PC. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any info on that myself.

    @KolStorg

    I'll be adding a gallery, but I may also add some form of a survival mode.

  27. what we really need is some improved catgirl voicing goodness :3
    which reminds me of a suggestion for the voicing that i was supposed to post a long time ago.

    while obviously adding some oomph factor to them, should try and reduce the airflow going into to the mic by either some some cloth of a sort which would hinder the airflow while (hopefully) retaining every bit of clarity in the voice your mic is able to give.

    or just keep it to the side of your lips so there would be no direct nor indirect airflow to it. or so :D

    just my badlyish explained 2 cents

    ps. loving the slight belly bulge on the dog animation and the cum animations. will there be or are the any plans to make more of such in the future? be it bigger or the same but belly bulges nevertheless.

    ReplyDelete
  28. That depends on the angle really. ZFied has already given me positions to work with and from there I have to figure out what angle I want to be looking at Rebecca.

    Some angles are just impossible for me to show the belly bulge, but yeah, I'm a huge fan of the slight belly bulge too and will add them when and where I can. The first animation I'm doing is at an angle where the belly bulge isn't really feasible unfortunately.

    I'd initially wanted to have more detail, like shadows on Rebecca's skin where a hand was gripping Rebecca's thigh tightly, but every little detail increases animation complexity and I had to scrap the idea. For now at least. Could try it out sometime later once I've got smooth animations going.
