UPDATE: 30 - 09 - 2011

This update has a lot of changes that were requested by people, and some that weren't. The new version contains 3 new sex scenes, which FAPCOM has spent an amazing amount of time doing, while also adding a new aiming sprite, and a dead sprite.

On my side of things, I've made the inventory a lot easier to navigate, as well as picking up and dropping items. I've also eliminated a couple of bugs, mainly that save one, as well as the Mercenaries sound one. I still don't know what was causing the mercenaries one, because all I did was remove resources that weren't in use. Anyway, that's fixed as well.

  1. Nice update Z-Fied :D although I did notice a couple of bugs & glitches.

    1. The clothing sprites start to change randomly when you take the elevator up. 2. The game crashes at the loading screen after you complete the mercenary mode. 3. Your shots are pretty accurate than before. 4. The zombies are nearly invulnerable at the injured man scene when you adjust their attack to 50% at the gameplay option menu. 5. At the mercenary, I couldn't move after declining to pick up items, instead I'll have to wait till I get hit or grabbed. 6. The key card taken from the injured man displays a wrong pic at the inventory screen, instead of the card its a 3-way wrench. 7. I feel the screen size in window mode is the same as in full-screen, no enlargement. 8. After saving, the name facility is misspelled as facilit.

    There might be more issues which I haven't explored yet. I'll let you know more later and what additions you can add in the game. Thanks to FAPCOM for the new sprites I explored using game maker & of course to you too Z-Fied for your work in trying to get rid of those pesky bugs.

  2. for starters, thanks for the great update!
    and then to bugs/nags ive noticed.

    fullscreen broke? aah!! D: so yea i noticed this straight off the bat, it put the client to fullscreen but the game itself stayed at the size of the previous mode windowed aka doesnt stretch the game anymore. though this gave me an idea for improvement if this is possible!

    windowed: as it is or tad bigger.

    windowed fullscreen: the game stays at the size of windowed but adds black "fullscreen" borders to it like it is with this update.

    "true" fullscreen: stretch the game to fullscreen while keeping the aspect ratio it has, like it was before.

    starting help file still shows submit button being x though changed to c.

    the stairs to the generator still require you to jump down because walking will just get you "stuck" on the top stair.

    umbrella keycard (the one you get from the dying dude) inventory sprite looks like a judges hammer.

    sex animation on zombie-standing-rebecca-on-lap looks more like headbashing than sex :D (to me looks a bit weird to have so much head movement while barely no movement on hips aka looks like the zombies just keeping it in and rock on!), and the leg getting infront of her stomach with every "thrust" is naggin me a bit but that might be just due to personal preference. also it looks like the animation itself would cut a bit short meaning there doesnt seem to be as much cum/after-cum time compared to other positions.

    does the sex slider affect the chances on cloth ripping? as atleast with the dog he nagged me to death and my clothes were down to only 50%ish.

    the naked sprite looks a bit creepy :D

    and i am unable to find the third sex scene ;-;

  4. @Sess- I think the 3rd sex scene would be at the boss fight after you get killed. I haven't tried it yet but I saw it after exploring all the game's sprites.

  5. Okay (this is going to be a lot of responses!)

    @Agentmax

    1) I'll fix that one
    2) ... I'm pretty sure I fixed that. What do you mean loading?
    3) They shouldn't be. I'll adjust the accuracy then.
    4) The attack slider doesn't affect their health.
    5) I'll have to fix that, didn't test mercenaries entirely
    6) That's because I've changed the image number for the new inventory sprites, which should hopefully be done by next update (at least, to a playable degree)
    7) That must be a resolution thing, I'll reduce the window size a bit, just larger than it was before.
    8) Ah ok, I need to fix the typing thing anyway.

    @Sess

    1) See #7 above, resolution.
    2) I'll edit the note.
    3) Yeah, I fixed the physics system, but it's now broken the whole going down stairs thing.

    5) FAPCOM has said he can't do a recovery animation after every sex animation, too much work. I'll see if I can lengthen the animation a bit myself.
    6) Yes, sex slider affects chance of clothing damage too, but it doesn't affect the cerberus, I've only changed it for zombies currently
    7) It may look a little weird since Rebecca is leaning forward, I found it to look a bit weird at first.
    8) ... Let's just say an enemy that didn't have a sex sprite now has one ^^

    @my 5/ totally understandable! and it definetly isnt all that gamebreaking but was just something i noticed :P

    @my 6/ actually noticed that after playing/testing some more!

    also forgot to mention on previous post that fantastic job on the clothing damage, looks splendid. :D

  7. @Z-Fied (2) I meant the LOK & your name Logo loading screen after you start the game. When I finished the mercenary & got pass the result screen, that's where I came across the crash bug.
    (4) Why not check it out because I noticed at that scene the zombies just won't go down & I ran out of ammo then started using the knife but when I changed the slider to 90% sexual then everything was normal. I maybe right or wrong unless you test it yourself. It could be a weird glitch after escaping a lot of grapple attacks.

  9. Found 2 strange things with the room with 2 double beds and sex mag:
    -if you have too many bullets(had 37)you can't pick up the ammo in that room;
    -reading the magazine will lower virus infection(try that with 20 slut exp so need confirmation with virgin one).
    Anyway keep up the good work.

    Glad to know you enjoyed that scene, FAPCOM went really creative with it, I personally wasn't expecting that either!

    @Anon

    1) It won't let you pick up ammunition if the number of ammunition will go above the max number and you don't have any free slots to move it to.
    2) Deliberate, the masturbation scene will reduce infection.

    Thats one heck of a nice update you guys made! really nice job doing it :D really awesome work!

    as for the bugs:

    i have to say that everyone that commented here just pointed out them xD

    quick question:
    Is the zombie dog getting a remake too? such as position and sprite?

    You could make the car a bit damaged (Since its a zombie rampage, the car could get some windows damaged) Or... that could fit to the other stage

  12. Hey, just did some testing. Got some bugs.

    1) After killing the boss and take the *first* (from the top) elevator in the generator hallway, the sprite spazed out and started messing it's clothing up.
    2) After beating the game, the background zombie moaning continues.

    Suggestions:

    would it be possible to sacrifice stamina to "grind" with the zombie during a submit, so you get him off faster? This way, you can safe health. But if you run out of stamina, you can't get the zombie off of you after he cums, leading to repeat sex until your stamina gauge recharges to a certain level. Add like a 5-10% penalty to viral infection to balance it out i guess.

  13. About the Rebecca being held up by the zombie sex pose: Yeah, I needed to add one more frame to make it smoother and the head positions were a bit off, but I couldn't fix it in time.

    Apart from that, did you find the other sex animation for the zombie? You'll have to check ZFied's previous post for a clue to get into it. Need feedback on it in case it turned out wrong.

    There's also one other sex scene. And yep, you guessed it, I need feedback on that one as well, so if you can, please find it. :P

    I'm afraid I can't post anything that might reveal what that sex scene is.

  14. Sorry for posting again, but i forgot something. Setting the attack/sex gauge to "full sex ahead" doesn't stop the monsters from attacking you after you kill the boss. Same with the dogs.

    And i dunno if UMLF has rules against letting guests view gifs, but i keep getting some weird picture of some guy wanting to screw a fish when i try to see the gifs... either that or for some reason i can't see them. Would love to see UrineOnU's work.

  16. I'm breaking my own rules about double posting, but I just got off being lazy and read up a bit. All I can say is:

    @Sess: Haha, you found it. At first I was unsure if I'd crossed some line in making that sprite, but I'm glad to know that ZFied made the right call in putting it in.

    I still have some things to do, for example you'll notice that if you're standing naked and aim, there's no sprite. That's because the current aiming sprite was a really quick composite of the other sprites.

    Also I haven't tackled the running sprite; we've still got the old one.

    Originally, sex animations were supposed to be at the bottom of the list of priorities, but then the team decided to make a go for it and see how you guys liked it.

    This week I'll be busy, and will have less time on my hands. Still, I'll have a think about the Cerberus scene. :)

  17. I really think Rebecca's new standing sprite looks a little...exageratted. Not to say it's a bad sprite, but i think it could use with a little... less posing. After all, this is a zombie apocalypse, not a "miss zombie" contest.
    Though i didn't want to bother FAPCOM with it, i could feel better about having some thought of it.

    Nevertheless, good work on the update, guys.

  18. Haha, sorry dude, I'm from the era of RE2+3. You leave Jill (and I think Claire too?) idle for long enough and they go into that pose, while niftily tapping their pistols on their hips to hint the player to get a move on.

    Since this game is kind of a tribute to the series, those same idle stances were adopted here.

    creativity for the win! its these kinda things that definetly makes the game stand out from the masses and also makes them memorable.

    now to just finish my time machine so i can blaze away to the next update! :3
    as a temporary relief for the wait i just finished RE1 yesterday and now working on RE4, sadly RE2/3 arent up yet on ps3 store so i have to save the best (3) for last! :)

    though ive said before i gotta say it again, i cant wait for the next update especially after seeing that last scene! keep it up! :D

    Really? I played those too, but never saw that. Perhaps i never stood still for long. Well, since you're making a tribute to the older games, you guys could also make those "intense moment choice" moments from RE3. You know, like fighting Nemesis or run inside the RPD building. Those were cool. That's just an idea, but it's a good one. :)

  21. Indeed it is! And it's an idea ZFied shares ;) Yes, he's had it planned from the beginning that decision-making events will be in the game, though in what form and with what consequences I can't let slip.

    I wonder if the version of RE3 up on PSN is different from the version I played on the PS, like a decade ago now, haha. I can vaguely remember Jill going into idle when I armed her with a pistol; she leaned to one side and tapped her hip with her pistol.

  23. got an error for a couple times during/breaking out of graple, seems totally random but both times that i got it, i was trying to break out of graple.

  24. It feels like i only have like a part of the game or something... when i mean by that (according to the updates) I've look around everywhere for the boss and generally all zombies didn't exactly grapple me even if i max the percentage sex to attack

  26. Hey there team! Just ran across your game the other day and I gave it a whirl. It looks great and I hope more new stuff keeps on coming.

    I ran through a couple times and though most of the bugs have already been mentioned I did spot another one I didn't see so far.

    For some reason after I continue a saved game from the first typewriter there are a number of the comments that Rebecca makes which are not detected by the game.
    Currently the list includes:
    Whore: "Keep going!"
    Neutral: "Grr!"
    Innocent: "Leave me alone!"

    Also it seems to glitch sometimes and she says something different from what is on the screen.

    I look forward to the next update!

  27. Also I don't know how much a bug like this matters but if you exit to the top menu from an elevator (at least the one going up next to the typewriter room) the elevator sound will continue to play as long as you are in the program.
